What is Nativo?
Nativo is a language learning app that turns your own speaking or writing into short personal lessons with natural phrasing, corrections, vocabulary, and reusable expressions.
How does learning from my own words help?
You practice with ideas you actually wanted to say or write. That makes the lesson more memorable than generic exercises and helps you reuse better phrases in real conversations.
Can I use it if I am a beginner?
Yes. You can record or write simple thoughts and review a natural version at your level. Short, focused practice works best when you are starting out.
Can I come back to old lessons?
Yes. Learning Home keeps recent audio and written lessons available so you can return to the original, stronger version, phrases, and coaching.
Which languages can I practice?
Nativo is designed for multilingual practice. Speak or write in the language you are learning, then use the lesson to compare your original idea with a more natural version.
How does a recording become a lesson?
After you upload a recording, Nativo transcribes it, identifies the learning goal, and creates a short lesson with better phrasing, useful words, sentence coaching, and review prompts.
What is the difference between Learn and Practice mode?
Learn mode helps you translate your thought into a natural target-language version. Practice mode helps you improve something you already said in the language you are practicing.
Can I review older sessions?
Yes. Recording history keeps past sessions available so you can return to the transcript and generated lesson.
Does Nativo replace a teacher?
No. Nativo is a practice companion for turning everyday speaking and writing into review material. A teacher can still help with conversation, accountability, and deeper correction.
How does Write work?
Write naturally or paste a draft, then Nativo turns it into the same kind of personal lesson as speaking practice, including improvements, reusable phrases, coaching, and review material.
Is my audio stored?
Audio recordings are stored so you can return to your learning history. You can delete sessions, and the privacy policy explains retention and provider use in more detail.
Can I use Nativo for work messages?
Yes. Paste a work message into Write to turn it into a lesson with a stronger version, focused fixes, and reusable phrases.
How long should recordings be?
Short, focused recordings work best. The exact maximum depends on your plan, and splitting a long idea into smaller sessions usually creates clearer lessons.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
The app shows the relevant usage limit and reset timing. You can wait for the next period or move to a plan with higher monthly limits.
Can I use Nativo on mobile?
Yes. The web app is built for mobile use, including recording, reviewing lessons, and listening to generated natural versions.
